Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching

Um, well, I don't think too many people watch Psych, which is sad because it's awesome. It's not as popular as some of the other fandoms I've been in, it's actually pretty small compared to most. I also wish more people were fans of reruns just because I feel all alone when I profess my love for reruns in rl and I don't get what's so bad about reruns? If there is anything bad - at least that's the impression I've gotten. So yeah old shows I'd wish were more watched, like Bewitched, Little House on the Prairie, I Love Lucy, The Cosby Show, Home Improvement. My taste in tv is eclectic at best, I guess.

Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching

SGU I only saw the pilot and stupid channel 10 the worst station on the planet scrapped it, despite the fact it was in the top 5 US media choices in a recent post on a major multi-media site, but it is going great elsewhere aroudn the world.

I have the DVED and cannot wait to get the rest of the series, and yup, there's a movie of it coming! *bounces*

Older shows:

Fringe, (never seen it, but would like to), Nowhere Man, (Chris Carter, paralel with the X-Files, probably why it didn't do as well as it might have if he released it when the X-Files was almost finished...

Sarah Connor Chronicles, Firefly, as for older, Lost in Space, The Invaders, (sci-fi), Night Gallery, (a series highlighting supernatural and The Unexplained, starring Bill Bixby), probably a couple of others I can't think of

I think with SGU, you either come in as an old fan of the franchise and like it for its own sake, not how it compares to SGA and SG-1 (which, I'm sorry, but I can't do - I will always compare it to its predecessors and I think that's why I can't watch it) or you come in as a new fan and start watching the franchise with SGU.

I'm just waiting for any news of a SGA movie, but I'm not hearing anything concrete. :(

I heard something is supposed to be stirring in the production of movies later this year, SGU I treat as a stand-alone, best way to enjoy it on its own terms. ^_^ I understand why some people don't catch on as the people making the series set out to make it very different to its predecessors.
