dahlia_moon1. Bridget Jones' Diary 2, Bridget/Mark, 'Morning Breath'
Bridget woke up and found her soon-to-be-husband staring at her.
"What? Do I have something horrible on my face?" She asked, fingering her face consciously.
"No. No, you're beautiful Bridget Jones." Mark Darcy started to lean toward his financee, but a finger stopped his lips' progress.
"What? Don't you want me to give you a good morning kiss?"
"Well, of course I do. Absolutely. There's just one teeny, tiny thing I have to do first. I'll be back in a flash, honestly. You just stay there, and hold that thought. I'll be right with you. In literally a minute, I swear." Bridget rose from the bed, and walked briskly to the bathroom.
Mark sat up in bed, and looked puzzled.
In a moment, Bridget was back, and she snuggled next to Mark in bed. They leaned toward each other, and kissed passionately.
An hour later they were still in bed. "You know, Bridget, I don't think you quite get the point of a good morning kiss. It's supposed to happen right at the moment you wake up, not after you've gone to the bathroom and doused your mouth with mouthwash."
"Damn..." Was all he heard mumbled from his chest.
2. Cardcaptor Sakura, Rika/Terada, 'What Always Was'
He looked at her a proud look on his face at the festival. Tomoyo was the only one who noticed, neither of them suspecting that anyone knew their secret. He gave her such a proudful, loving gaze which shook Tomoyo to her core. She berated herself for not noticing it: he was in love.
After the initial shock of finding out her teacher and classmate were in love, Tomoyo thought it was the most natural thing in the world. It made sense, as much as the sun rising and setting, as flowers blooming, and dying, and the weather changing. It was what made the world go round.
3. InuYasha, Kagome/InuYasha, 'Spying'
"Why are you always butting into Miroku and Sango's business?"
"InuYasha, get down! They'll see you!"
The half-demon groaned and slumped next to the girl hiding behind the rock. They peeped out from behind the rock at the two unsuspecting people sitting some ways away.
This went on for a while, and would've gone on for who knew how long if it weren't for Kagome's impatience and her lack of endurance. After a while, her eyelids drooped closed, and she slumped down to the grass. Her companion, unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, had the ability of staying awake for an ungodly amount of time. He propped up the girl against his shoulder, and put his red cloak on her to keep her warm.
It was at times like these that the tough half-demon could admit, to himself, that he liked the girl a little. Only a tiny bit though.
4. Kyle XY, Lori/Declan, 'Stars'
"Come on...it'll be nice, you and me on a blanket, under the stars, enjoying nature...and each other."
"Trager, you have an interesting proposition."
"Is that a yes, then?" Lori asked, winding her arms around her boyfriend's neck.
"Yes. Always yes." They leaned toward each other and kissed deeply.
5. MARS, Rei/Kira, 'Smile'
"Do you want to come to my apartment after school and finish the painting?"
"Yes, that sounds fine."
"Okay, bye." Rei waved, smiling.
Kira watched him go. She raised her arm to wave back, but couldn't. She was hypnotized by the smile. What could a god like that see in plain, ordinary me?
6. Naruto, Sakura/Sasuke, 'Dream'
She always dreams of them hugging. Nothing else. She dreams of running after him in the pitch black, and winding her arms around him. She dreams of him hugging her from behind, while tears drip messily down her face. For so long after he leaves, she feels as though she's in sort of a limbo- not quite heaven, but not hell either.
When Naruto comes back from the rescue mission-empty-handed- her world plummets from the limbo straight into hell. But a pair of arms-not the ones she expects-always pull her back from the hell-if only for a few hours a day. Naruto, always there, doesn't quite make everything all right, but it makes each day easier to get by.
