  • Thought throughout the majority of the movie: OH GODDD WHY IS THIS MOVIE SO VIOLENT
  • WHY IS THIS SO VIOLENT
  • BUT SO GOOD?!
  • OH HAI RICHARD ARMITAGE FROM NORTH & SOUTH! <333 I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU UNDER ALL YOUR DWARF MAKEUP BUT I RECOGNIZE YOUR SEXAYY VOICE THORIN <3333
  • OH GOD THOSE TWIN DWARVES ARE SOOO ADORABLE AND HOT FILI & KILLI? (Aidan Turner, I did not think you were hot on Being Human but dwarf makeup makes you hot to me? I don't even know, man, really.)
  • Of course the only scene I remember from the book was the riddle scene Bilbo has with Gollum in the caves.
  • Oh god, I wish I had the DVDs of the first trilogy (Fellowship et. al) so I can refresh my memory. (I think I've only seen them once, and they need to be seen more than once to remember anything and/or not be confused by everything - at least for me.)
  • Gandalf and Galadriel? Is there something-something there? Because I swear he looks at her like he loves her and wants to have her babies. Okay, maybe not so crudely put, but the sentiment is there.
  • So okay it had a lot of violence and gore and was pretty intense for me in that respect but THOORRRRINNN LET ME LOVE YOU.
  • It was, to sum it up, about fifteen people walking around for three hours, and about Gandalf saving them at the last minute pretty much every time, but it was also MAJESTIC AND MAGNIFICENT. WELL DONE PETER JACKSON AND J.R.R. TOLKIEN.
  • I am totally right and it IS A TOTAL OF THREE MOVIES AND MY BROTHER IS SO, SO, SO WRONG.
  • I don't remember if Saruman is evil in Fellowship and the others, but I did not trust him at all in this movie. Lady (or man in this case) doth protested way too much.
