I woke up today with sharp pains in my stomach. And then such strong nausea that I felt like almost fainting. Maybe it's the heat? I dunno. The stomach pain has gone away and so has the nausea, but I feel like it's hiding at the edge just waiting for me to feel secure that I won't get it to attack me again.

I feel like this is a repetitive question (see questions #1 & #2) but some other shows I haven't talked about that can be included here are: Freaks and Geeks (I know it's old, but good in my opinion), Degrassi: The Next Generation (this is probably more for people who like high school dramas), Supernatural (a show for people who aren't...weak-stomached? I guess? And don't mind gore and blood), Star Trek: Voyager, Star Wars: Clone Wars (admittedly I haven't watched all the episodes either, but if you're a SW fan, it's definitely something to check out), CSI, Glee, The Vampire Diaries, and Scooby Doo.

OK, I've finally seen the movie and the first episode. Will catch up on the other three tomorrow.

I think this was my first time seeing a Degrassi movie while it aired (or, technically, a bit after it aired - I'm about two weeks behind) so that was cool. I loved all the Holly J./Declan scenes; the Fiona scenes were weird and I really hated her in the movie and then I was totally on her side in 'What A Girl Wants, Part I.' I liked the movie overall, I just wish Spinner and Jane hadn't broken up. Or that Spinner and Emma hadn't gotten married. Or that at least George didn't end up getting back together with his girlfriend right after he & Jane kissed. Arghhh!! I thought George was soooo cute and awesome for Jane! Whatever.

So basically - besides Holly J./Declan & Shantay/Danny - pretty much all of the couples I've rooted for on Degrassi have broken up and there's probably no chance of them ever getting back together. (Like Ali/Johnny, Anya/Sav. And KC/Claire, more importantly. So who the heck is this guy "Eli?" What is he doing with Claire?? Yeah, haven't seen that yet. But if you call them adorable, I will hold my judgment until I've seen it. But I still miss Klare so very much!! ;<)

Oh, did you see those Facebook pics I tweeted about TVD at Comic Con?? they made me explode with excitement!! And I still can't stop staring at them!

Yay for finally seeing Degrassi movie! And yeah, aside from Holly J/Declan, I have no idea what they were thinking with this movie. I enjoyed it more than Degrassi Goes Hollywood, mostly because other than Jay/Manny, I didn't really care about the characters in that one. I think the weakest storyline here was Jane's, and I know that they wanted to get rid of her character because Paula Barcati isn't returning this season, so they had her go to a university far away, but I wish they hadn't just crammed Emma and Spinner together to get rid of their characters as well. You've seen Sean/Emma, right? I saw the chemistry between Spinner and Emma, but it was so fast, so rushed, so... unrealistic and out of character that even though they had some good scenes (I loved her cheering him up after the Dot broke down and he was moping about Jane, when they played basketball. THAT, I thought, was realistic, and platonic, and fine), it was just too out of the blue for me. And yeah, huge Sean/Emma shipper here, and maybe Daniel Clarke will never come back to the show, but I loved Sean, and they were my first Degrassi OTP, and they're like... fated. They'd lasted so long, and to have that be thrown away (yeah, okay, he's at war in the show, but he'll be back--I always had faith they'd find each other again) for a drunken marriage at a casino was just... ridiculous.

Fiona I didn't like in the movie at all, but that was mostly just set up for her character season 10. I'm interested to see what else they do with her because this is the first character with psychological problems who isn't bipolar, and it's handled completely differently than Craig, so it's interesting. And then this plus the Bobby abuse issues in Season 10... It'll be interesting to see what they do with all this.

Aww, I'm sorry all the characters we love aren't together anymore. Well, Danny graduated, and I don't think Chantay has many storylines this season at all, so I'm going to believe they're still together unless they do something to show me otherwise. You haven't seen the episodes yet, but Alli is... Alli is... "interesting" this season (she's been this way to a lesser degree every season, but it's more pronounced this time) and I'm kind of glad she and Johnny broke up just because even though they were right for each other, he was older, so he sort of... protected her or sheltered her or something to that effect (this will make sense after you see some more season 10 episodes). Basically, she has a lot of growing up to do, and yeah, she's a sophomore now, but something about her is bugging me this season, and this thing with Drew... Ugh. Melinda Shankar (Alli) promised us we'd like him, but right now, he just makes me so annoyed every time he appears. (You'll see what I mean soon.)

If it makes you feel better, Zane/Riley are still toghether. As are Jay/Manny. And I'm not writing off Sav/Anya just yet. Whatever they do, if they do ANYTHING to Holly J/Declan (summaries for a two part episode do not sound good), I will be really really upset. Things are good... for now.

OH! And Jenna/KC will most definitely not last. Jenna's a bit more likable (I still can't forgive her for the Clare stuff, and I doubt they'll ever be friends again because Jenna's just not as honest or mature as Clare, even now, but she's not AS bad, and that means something), but yeah, KC is supposed to eventually break away from her. That I'm looking forward to. Judging from the theme song, I'm guessing he'll have a thing with Bianca. I have no idea who she is yet (well, I know who she is, but we haven't officially met her yet), so I hope that goes well.

I'm really excited about the transgendered storyline.

And YES, Eli and Clare are adorable. I think it's because when you meet him, it's like one of those 'everything else stops' moments, and then, he's there for her in a way KC couldn't be because he had way too many problems of his own, and he kept way too many secrets and didn't know how to handle it when anyone found out. Looking back, it kind of molded his character into who he is now. I disliked him season 9 because it was one bad choice after another, and it was like he couldn't appreciate everything Clare did for him. They were cute together, and he helped her see herself as more than just the smart one, and I loved them. With Eli, Clare's already her own person, but he drives her toward being even more honest with herself, taking risks and having fun and being awesome. (Clare's REALLY awesome this season. Like, right now, she's in a completely different, better place than she was in Season 9, but she's still the same, smart Clare.) You'll see what I mean.

And Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I didn't see those! Yay Paul and Ian, and OMG THAT LAST ONE WITH THE MONKEY IS SOOOOOO ADORABLE. *dies*

I have a vague idea about who Sean is, but haven't watched his episodes yet. All I know is the Spinner/Emma wedding did come out of the blue and felt like it just slapped me in the face. I much preferred them as friends.

It does make me feel better that Zane/Riley and Jay/Manny are together. I dunno how I feel about Drew/Ali though. Drew bugs me as a character.

From what I've seen of the first episode of S10, Clare does seem like she's a bit different now than she was in the previous season - it looks like she's gotten more comfortable being in her skin and being bolder.

*sigh* Yeah, a lot of people felt that way about Spinner/Emma (especially the Sean fans--I can't wait until you see his episodes because the reason I first liked KC was because he reminded me of Sean, and I missed him).

DREW BOTHERS ME TOO. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels the way. He's too smug and arrogant and I hope something awful happens to him because I'm sad about what happened in the last few episodes with him and Riley.

YES! Exactly! I just love Clare so much (but I always did). From the way things look, I don't think Alli and Clare will last as friends (they still are, but they've been tweeting stuff that sounds like stuff will get in the way of their friendship). The way Alli is, I don't see how it can survive, actually.

I'm not a fan of monkeys either. (BUT IT'S JUST SO ADORABLE!)

yay links! I actually saw '99 Problems' & and the first part of 'Better Off Alone' yesterday as Teen Nick had them up.

Drew acts like a nice guy but he's really not. I'm just thankful that it didn't get as ugly as it could've gotten. But, really, I'm so sad for Riley. Who wants to be quarterback and wants to be with Zane...but can't be himself around school.

I hope Alli and Clare stay friends though. I'm also weirdly warming up to Jenna. I'll always think of her as a boyfriend stealer but she's tolerable this season. KC isn't. I have no idea what's up with that boy. I really love his mom and have no idea why he's trying to keep her from regaining custody of him. And to go so far as to try to get her in trouble by stealing alcohol from her?? I know he just wants to protect himself but his mom seems sweet and like she's changed...

Totally agree with what you said about Drew. Actually, I just saw next week's promo ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egyPE5MoxEc&feature=player_embedded )and even though Alli's been bothering me lately, I don't want to see him hurt her (like he most likely will).

I've been tolerating Jenna more now too. I think because they're finally focusing on her as a person and not just this jerk who existed to ruin KC and break Klare up. Interested in seeing what her huge storyline is. And yeah, she was so much more reasonable about that KC/his mom situation. Seriously. But I think he's getting better. I have some faith in him now...

Clare's awesome, but even though I love Eli, this storyline with Fitz and the fighting is freaking me out. It's excited, but I'm kind of scared for both of them.

Excited they're focusing on Adam next week!

Ohhh, yeah KC is definitely getting better. I loved him at the end of "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself" when Jenna had that horrifying experience with the diet pills and he was super sensitive and kissed her hands and arms. He was just ADORABLE.

I honestly thought Adam was a girl pretending to be a boy, and not a transgendered character but that's cool and am excited they're focusing on him as well.

I did just finish watching "Try Honesty" parts 1 and 2 and it was depressing watching them break up but also, I think, kinda good for them - if such a thing could be good? But I'll still carry hope that they might get back together.

I think Adam actually IS a girl pretending to be a boy. I think they're calling him a transgender because she WANTS to be one, but hasn't gone through with the operation yet (I'm guessing because of family and stuff).

I agree with you about Try Honesty. They kept them both in character, it made sense, but it was still so sad when it happened (Landon Liboiron is just SO GOOD at crying scenes. I was teary just looking at the emotion on his face). And naturally, I can't stop listening to that song that played when they finally broke up. ^^;;

Oh shows I don't like, there are plenty of those, I just don't watch them. I am no fan of reality shows, or lives of the rich and infamous and other such things, I am not a big fan of the Simpsons or their spin offs, although I do acknowledge some skethes are very funny, but yup, I don't like anything that is medeochrity on steroids, LOLL soaps, unless they're supported by a powerful plot and world that is awesome, so Days of our Lives or shows like that from that time don't do it for me I'm afraid, :D

I love sci-fi shows, fantasy, some drama and crime suspense, shows that basically have an edge of magic about them, strong characters you can love to hate and love, great eps with thoughtful and deep cinematic quality scripts and leave you going wow, and smiling, warm and fuzzy, and or sitting on the edge of your seat by episode's ending. ^_^


On your stomach, I am not sure, but I get pain inside the left hip area, and the pain spirals to a point beneath the left side of my ribs, and often is like a crampy pain around my back on that same left side, rarely does it refer to the right-hand side of my body, but I had blood tests, and my kidneys, liver and other vital organs are fine.


The doctor told me it was lactose intollerance, so all diary I have stopped eithing regularly like yoghurt, full-cream milk, (though I do eat low fat cheese now and drink low fat milk because of the lactose and stuffage), I am reasonably fit and weight is not a problem for me, I am lucky there, but the possibility of meat, or some meat being causal is because I feel it after eating certain things the nigyht before: mince, some other meats, (amount) might be part of it, eggs and butter in muffins, (sooo hard to reduce the muffin content, got to have one now and then ^_^) but it is also likely that glutan and or other preservatives I may have a alergic reaction to, but darn hard to pin it down.

My nephew has the same thing, and had his apendix removed as the stomach bloated and so too the inflamation to the tummy area. I don't know, I am waffling on, and hope that maybe this might help, but yeah, the body is a mystery! *hugs ya* <33333333

I've never been a big fan of The Simpsons but, for some reason, I like to watch it a little bit for nostalgic reasons. This was a show that was from my generation and it has a very 90's feel to it still, which is really what I love about it. But yeah, I can never get through all the episodes in one sitting. (It's that whole dysfunctional family bit and the raunchy humor that doesn't sit well with me. I don't hate the dysfunctional family bit but its humor is something I've never gotten so the combination of both doesn't make it a show I'm excited to tune in to.)

The stomach pain is very random and not too much of a painful nuisance. I don't think it warrants a blood test specifically (and I have had other blood tests so surely if it was something major, they would've found something?)

My diet is pretty much the same all through out the year (my family is very health-conscious and we never have junk food or go to like McDonalds or Wendys. Take out is also rare as much of the food is prepared by ourselves) so I don't know if that could be causing it or what. Well, I'll just keep an eye on it. Thanks for the concern! <3<3
