VR5 was aired just before the turn of the century, in the late 90s from memory, and the female lead character was called Sydney, it was a spellbinding show about crossing into another reality from your computer, but it was more than that, lots of cloak and dagger stuffage. ^_^
I'm glad Anime has a lot more staying power, although I am not sure if and when the Maple Story Anime is going to be English dubbed and if spin-offs of the on-line game such as the Cygnus Knights, and the Dragon themes will end up as their own series, *hopes so* Take care Lady J! *squishes ya*
