Day Nineteen: Top Five Favorite Sandwiches

1. I usually just have a turkey sandwich every day
2. It’s awesome
3. But the chicken teriyaki footlong from Subway is awesome too (but even though it’s less than $10, I can’t have it every day)
4. Basically I’ll eat anything and it’ll be my favorite (except fish sandwiches—but I can’t tolerate salmon or fish out of the can even on the best days so there’s that)
5. chicken sandwich (which is totally diff. from the chicken teriyaki footlong sandwich from above)

The thing with this fic is that it's much easier to write it in Duke's voice than it is in Audrey's or Nathan's. This is strange because I over-identify strongly with Nathan--he could be a /male/ version of me, what we've seen so far of his character. Duke is one of those characters whom I really love in my stories, but if he was someone I knew in real life, I'd probably want to punch him, averse as I am to any kind of violence. (Huh. I guess maybe that's why he and Nathan get into fistfights so much--Nathan can't control himself and HAS to punch him.)

This is all to say, I thought that beginnings were hard to write. But, nope. It's pretty much the whole shebang. Sigh.
