Apparently dates are being announced for returning shows for the fall tv season already:
Castle comes back Monday, September 24
Once Upon a Time comes back Sunday, September 30
The Vampire Diaries come back on Thursday, October 11

Psych is also supposed to come back sometime this fall but probably not until late October or even November.

But I have no idea when fall semester starts though. Priorities, I have them.

(And uh, I have no idea where I've been for the past three weeks. I'm gonna try to get back into posting awesome comic book moments for the 100 Things Challenge but I haven't been feeling very excited about comics these past several weeks. Am hoping that might change soon and I can get back to the challenge. This is why it'd be helpful if you planned things better, self.)

... I think I'm dropping psych. And it makes me ridiculously sad because I used to love it so so much. But I pulled out my season 3 DVDs the other days and realized it's kind of a shadow of itself. No one's had any real character moment in year, Shawn and Jules don't have on screen chemistry at all (God, I ship literally all other possible permutations of ships on this show: Jules/Lassie? Lassie/Shawn? Jules/Gus? Chief Vick/Shawn? LITERALLY I LIKE EVERYTHING BETTER THAN WHAT IS ONE SCREEN.)

Sorry for vomiting hate all over your blog, but I have to vent to someone. I'll have to get you to tell me if any of them are worth watching.

Aww ;( I totally understand. I can't spot whether characters have chemistry or not, and though I find Jules and Shawn adorable, they can get bland in some places. I honestly just watch the show for Shawn and Gus' epic BFFery (and the funny moments).

(I do agree no one's really had any big character developments with the exception of Shawn's character. I'd argue he's changed quite a bit from s1. And Henry's become important too and not just the hard-ass father who's always disappointed with his son.)

That's okay, feel free to vent whenever you want on here. :D

I have yet to acquire season 1 of Once Upon a Time or Grimm, I am totally into SGA and all things Stargate having just enjoyed a two month marathon, and am writing new fic for it on a SA community also, re-writing my 'I Stepped into a Dream SGA-SG1 crossover, the first chapter is reposted on ariasink, along with the latest chap for Foreign Correspondent, both fics heavilly influenced by the franchize.

I still need to check out Psyche - as a fantasy and sci-fi fan these jump out at me, the other show, the Vampire Diaries I've not seen a single ep, sad I know.

I think though, and I can only speak for myself, as much as relationships are intriguing, (Teyla-Ronon), (Shep-Weir) or Rodney-Jennifer and the slashy fics, I do feel that plot and the whole of the show needs great scripts, story power and depth, ships alone don't cut it for me, soapies serve that function, no disrespect to anyone, that's just me. :D

I have heard that Dallas is going to be rebooted, I used to watch that before I went blind, it was addictive and pulled on our sympathy and got us fired up over the awful bad guys, but it had high production values and was for epic dynastic shows the 'X-Files' of that genre, season one has 10 eps, and season 2 15 - it picks up where it left off and races us to 2012 and beyond, so we'll see if it works and I hope they try some weird and wondrful plotlines, and why not so long a it is good TV I don't mind in the least. :D

Yes, do check out Psych! Although it's a police comedy show and I don't know if you like that kind of genre but it's worth checking out.

No, I totally agree too. Psych did already go toward the route of hooking up two of its main characters but I don't think it focuses too much on the romance aspect on the show? Yes, there are couple-y moments between them but it doesn't overshadow the whole show, imho, so you can kinda ignore it if that's not your cup of tea.

I have heard about the reboot of Dallas, but I don't know if I'm gonna be watching it. I am open to trying it out but once I catch up on all the other shows I need to catch up on first.

Okay, sounds pretty good, I love how balance works, X-files is good and even in SGA and SG1 everything has the right mix, I don't mind relationships especially when the characters bond through a series of trials and survive them, that makees it work far better - sounds like you're a lot further ahead of me in the DVD series race though! LOL I'm hopelessly behind!

Oh if you get a chance, check out the Cloud Atlas movie trailer, I read the book and am impressed with what I heard! <333333
