Btw, I love violet/purple. It is my most favorite color ever! But still, it was majorly hard coming up with ten things that were violet-colored (which is why I cheated oh so badly and had most of them be a combination of flowers & jewelry. Forgive me?)
1. Starfire, my fave character from the Teen Titans cartoon:

2. This is kinda cheating but there's a character named Violet in these children book series I used to read religiously in the fourth grade called The Boxcar Children who was my favorite character in the series (because she was the most like me). Violet, I think, is the one in the uh purple shirt here, I think? (Henry & Benny are the two boys with Henry being the oldest and Jessie is the girl who's the oldest after Henry.)

3. The Abduction of Psyche: which is my all-time favorite ancient Greek myth (with the story of Persephone a close second) and she's shown here to be cloaked in some kind of purple drapery

4. purple crocuses:

5. purple hydrangeas:

6. grapes are my favorite fruit:

7. the purple teletubby (dude the Teletubbies were my life when I was younger so they totally count):

and just in case you doubt the awesomeness of the Teletubbies: the theme song
(This kinda makes me sad there was never a purple power ranger because you know the purple power ranger would've totally been my favorite.)
8. a purple necklace/pendant:

9. silver ring with a purple stone:

10. and a purple butterfly pin and earring set:

I stumbled upon weheartit.com and joined. I think it's like a pointless combination of social networking sites and tumblr, that focuses less on the networking and more on the sharing of pretty pictures that you can "heart" and subsequently have on your own page for all of time. But for all its pointlessness, sometimes you just need to look at the pretty. Which is all I'm saying. (It is also majorly scary that I gathered 83 pictures in less than an hour of joining. The Internet Age = the age where reading isn't required anymore.)
