Whoooo! Got my assignment for troublesfest2013 yesterday. Now it's time to panic. I mean, I do like my assignment, but it's just a matter of catching up with the source material and trying to come up with something that's not terrible.

day six

Day Six: Top Five Things That Happened To You This Past Year

1. Um, got rejected from Nursing school for the second time. yeah, not fun. >;<
2. Got to go to a Womanthology: Heroic signing at my local comic book store and met Renae De Liz, Stacie Ponder, Ellen Crenshaw and Ashlee Lentini, all awesome women in comics.
3. My grandfather died. >;<
4. My silver Toshiba laptop died.
5. Voted for the first time. (Technically, I could've voted the minute I turned eighteen, but I didn't feel comfortable at the time because it honestly felt like such a huge fucking thing that stressed me out greatly, and then I learned to relax about it.)

(oh gosh, my memory is so poor--had to troll my journal archive for most of these things. I had totally forgotten about the Womanthology signing, for example, even though it was my first book signing and not something I thought I'd forget easily.)
