I think what tipped the scales for me is the fact that everyone is so horribly horrible to him. I can understand not liking him in s1, but midway around s2 or so, the horrible treatment he was getting was becoming less justified and just mean for the sake of kicking the poor man when he was down.
Plus, Louis/CATS, otp. ;_____; heeee! THIS I mean, Louis might not be the best people person around, but he treated his cat like she was a royal. :D And I can't hate him for that, at all.
