Some Psych thoughts. Because I have to talk about it.

I have no idea what's happening to Psych but the episode "In Plain Fright" was...lacking something? I have no idea but it just didn't feel like Psych, at all. And I don't think it's just the Shawn/Juliet stuff. Or maybe it is and I'm just trying to overlook it because I really, really do want Shawn/Juliet to work out. The season 5.5 premiere was really cute and I did love how they hooked up. (SHE MAKES HIM WANT TO BUY A CAR!!! Although I really hope that he doesn't get rid of the bike anytime soon because it's central to his character and if he gets rid of it, he will not be Shawn, he will be a pod person.) And I don't think Jules being in a relationship will necessarily detract from her character - at least I hope not. I mean she's still kick ass and can punch a guy's lights out.

I do wish they didn't go in the predictable way of hooking up the male lead with the female lead, but they did and I'm not totally against it but it just seems forced, which I guess is why so many non-Shawn/Juliet shippers are against it but again, they are kinda cute and ugh, I totally want them to work. The only thing that really bothers me to the extreme is that Shawn doesn't seem to be feeling guilty at keeping this HUGE lie from Juliet. If this were fic, readers would be up in arms about the behavior being OOC and it is and, besides the little bit of guilt we were shown that he was feeling when she was with Declan, it's like it's not there at all now. I really hope they don't keep avoiding it forever, is all I'm saying.
