dahlia_moonHappy Thanksgiving to those celebrating it.
My family doesn't "officially" celebrate it since it's mostly an American holiday and not a European one, but we do get full of turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and apple pie. Our Thanksgiving is small. We don't make a big deal of it. It's only the immediate family and some great food, but it's what works for us, apparently.
I have the theory that we even think about celebrating Thanksgiving around here just to have an excuse to eat like crazy since my parents are health nuts and we never have any pie or any other fatty good foods here, unless it's someone's birthday.
And I hear the skiing biz has taken off in Japan. Now, I really wish I could ski and had money to go to Japan.
