So I was reading this Esme story this evening (Falling by Imogen) and I was wondering how Carlisle could have turned Esme into a vampire if she had all ready jumped off the cliff and killed herself. My question is, is it possible for a vampire in Ms. Meyer's vampire universe to turn someone if they're all ready dead? And how would that work exactly? Wouldn't something happen to your blood when you die? (I'm not sure exactly what would happen to your blood, but doesn't everything stop working?) And then when that question came to mind, I wondered how Carlisle knew to save/turn her?

Obviously, he turned her because he loved her and wanted to spend eternity with her, but when did he turn her? Is what I'm really getting at, I guess. Was it afterwards when someone realized that she had died, and Carlisle got the news from them? Or did he happen on her just minutes/hours after she jumped?

I don't think it's clear and I don't remember there being anything about it in the books. And obviously I'm curious to the point of obsession. Well, almost. ^^ I really wish there could've been/will be a bit more in the books about their history together. I'd definitely be happy.

Is it obvious that I've become a Carlisle/Esme nut right now? I think so. I just can't seem to get enough of these two. I dunno what's about them, but they grab my attention right now.

I was thinking of asking at one of the many Twilight fan communities that I joined/watch, but I don't wanna sound stupid if the answer happens to be staring me right in the face...

The hospital- I didn't even think of that. I guess she got to the hospital and that's where Carlisle saved her.

Heyyyy, now that I've actually finished reading Twilight, I can finally comment something significant on these posts! Yay!

I bought the book today and I'm on page 200ish. I'M PISSED THAT EDWARD IS GONE AND WANT HIM TO RE-MATERIALIZE RIGHT NOW!!! *stamps foot* It's taking tooo long! I miss him... T_T

Oh, yeah I felt horrible reading through the 400 odd pages when Edward was gone. I was so on edge and wanted him to suddenly appear so I'd feel happy again. And Jacob is actually a character that I'm hating right now simply because of his actions in New Moon. I felt like he was moving in on Bella.

I liked him more in Twilight...when he was only a minor character who appeared once in awhile for a page and a half or so.

Somehow time I climbed on is not present and, asking questions, found interesting and not so interesting answers. One of which was - « FailureAccident on the Chernobyl atomic power station, 4 power unit ». I became interesting and thumbing through sites was simply horrified. One I the fellow worker, in the past the meter man, has told about the friend which was the liquidator of consequences of this failureaccident, the truth or not I do not know. But spoke that - « firemen which extinguished a fire there, by turns washed in a showersoul groups, and muzhiks because of an irradiation were shone in darkness, but to live ithim remains few hours ».

Actually, I was wondering about that too. So I went and looked at Twilight again and figured I'd drop you a comment.

Apparantly, Esme jumped off the cliff but didn't die straight away. She was taken to the hospital morgue because the hospital staff knew there was no hope for her; she was alive but barely. Carlisle went to the morgue for... some random reason (:D), and found Esme, her heart still miraculously beating.

And VOILA!! Instant vampire, just add venom :D
