Feeling my way through the darkness

Sigh. I've become obsessed with a new show–Sleepy Hollow. I will tell you I wanted to watch it because:
a) damn, do I love the legend
b) it looked like it had awesome characters (John Cho! You were the deciding factor in me watching it now instead of waiting until forever but...I'm so conflicted about your character. Do I hate you? Do I sympathize with you? I don't know what I'm feeling. Someone tell me. I want to hate him but then I also hope there's more to the character's back-story than that he was feeling like being a henchman for demonic forces.)
c) Ichabod Crane is hot.
d) Actually, the whole cast is hot.

just look at these two adorkable dorks:

(Besides Sleepy Hollow, Castle, Haven and s1 of Hawaii Five-0 are about as much TV as I can take this season.)

John Cho was one of the deciding factors for me as well. I love that even under demonic command he is snarky as hell. In episode two he seems conflicted though it almost more intellectual than emotional which is kind of cool. I'm not a big fan of angsty, conflicted characters so this appeals to me much more.

Oh, yeah, he's definitely still delightfully deadpan, which is why I don't outright hate the character (but he's so evil so IDK *hands*)

Huh. That's kinda interesting--John Cho did sell me on his character being conflicted, but I didn't catch that distinction of intellectual vs. emotional.
