Oh, cross-posting from your dreamwidth account should be easy. On the update page (the page where you write up a post), on the bottom, outside the text box, there should be a 'Crosspost this entry' check box where the music, mood, tag, etc field boxes are.
On your 'My Account Settings' page there is this that should be there: http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/settings/?cat=othersites that configures your accounts for crossposting where you enter the server name (like LiveJournal, for example, is one but if you had others, maybe you could try them too), and other settings like if you want to disable comments made on cross-posts and what the footer should be like (the footer is the part that says 'This entry was originally posted at http://www.dreamwidth.org/12345.html' or however you want to write it). I hope this helps you somewhat - I think it's a very cool feature.
