That is good advice, I think it is also worth calling the Toshiba distributor - or the store where you got it, if there isn't enough RAM that can make the processor work harder, but could need a clean too, so the battery is def a candidate, but is the vents free of objects as sometimes if you have something on the desk and the heat cannot escape properly, that is the most common cause, could be any object as these fans need a bit of space but it could need a service too - good luck Lady J! *hugsya*
