Thanks for the friends rec but, honestly, I'd feel kinda not OK friending Laurence as I don't interact with him as much as I do with you...I'm sure Laurence is an awesome person and if he's friends with you then he must be, but I'm kinda trying to just add people I know I've interacted with at least in some way on FB - doesn't necessarily have to be real life. Hope you understand. :D

(sorry I'm just now answering this comment - I kinda avoided LJ altogether last week because it was taking a really, really long time to load on Firefox, and I wasn't getting anything done and it just wasn't worth the aggravation. Then I remembered I had installed Chrome a while back and coupled with Tumblr going wonky on me now, I've decided to use Chrome for browsing LJ and Tumblr because it's just less painful, y'know?)
